Top Ten 2006
Posted by: Adam Fuson @ 2007.01.28.2154

Not since February 2002 has an entire month passed without a single article. November 2006 came and went without a single article being contributed to decavirate. This very article is a good measure as to how far behind Decavirate has been on content production. However, some monumental firsts did occur this year. Charles & Melissa and Nathan & Amanda both wed on July 1st this year. Bremer bought his first house and is now second behind Jimmy in home owners. Similarly, Bull moved out of his mother's house into a nearby apartment.

Katherine arranged one of the largest birthday events ever for me last year. We survived a busy year at UC together. During which time I accompanied Charlie and Melissa to Denver and the first Chipotle at Evans, and relocated a shed with the aid of the Bull. During the summer months we saw O'brien race his last Ault Park race. I was absent from Superweek for the first time in years, but John Adams and Brian Nieport found their way to the Gateway Cup for the first time.

The Bull's CNC milling machine was technically completed, though it still continues to be improved. Before Will entered his first year of graduate school and I my second year, Bremer and I drove to Boston to find Frank. Finally, UC Cycling embarked on another monumental cross-country training trip riding in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

I still get a good chuckle when I think of all the extras at the last Ault Park this past year.

This is what I was telling you about the other day, Reser. They can work even if it's freezing outside....

Ned @ 2007.01.29 2221
Interesting fact - it is economical to use city water in a heat exchanger. It is illegal to use it once and dump it, whether it goes in the storm water or sewer, therefore it's recycled in the heat exchanger until it evaporates.

This article points out that Vista can use a USB flash drive to provide a performace boost of extra memory... but since hard drives are often 4 times faster does it really make that much sense?

  Total Assimilation.

No tough refinement steps necessary except filtering.

They say you just aren't going to get ultra-high efficiency, but that seems to be in disagreement with this

Fuse @ 2007.02.11 2216
I don't want to fix another Dell laptop power supply, but to those who have them, beware...

Ned @ 2007.02.11 2352
I think the lowered efficiency comes from the wrong air/fuel ratio or timing with the fuel. The lubricative properties of bio-diesel should increase the mileage with a well-tuned motor. I expect the furnace to work better if I get someone to tune it properly once the bio-diesel is running through it. Oil furnaces are suppose to be tuned once a year anyway, and gas furnaces every 2-3 years to keep efficiency. The problem is that half the HVAC guys don't have all the metering tools to do the job right. A good technician will be able to tell you how the furnace is operating before and after.

I think the first one was a bit more typical. Remember the Linux guy we bought the router from in the Micro Center parking lot?

Spring Break, anyone else feel like going to Fat Tire Festival? http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1380750

What is that picture even supposed to represent? That Linux is busty?

I am surprised Johnny didn't realize this and I did. She is a female. Steorotypically, most computer gurus are male and Linux is more geared for the computer gurus to use. So, its more appealling to use.

Ned @ 2007.02.13 2326
And Macs are attractive to most fags, except for closet cases who are attracted to PCs.

And in the words of Greg, "I'd hit it all."

Who put up the broken link to the "cool" car from das Bundesrepublik?

john adams @ 2007.02.14 1847
i think greg would tag the PC for sure, that guy's a huge A$$.

Fuse @ 2007.02.15 0032
Katherine thought this was more appropriate

Fuse @ 2007.02.15 0035
That is in response to Jim's pose in front of the Grand Canyon

john Q ortcloud @ 2007.02.15 2252
  Glorious! Fuse... Glorious!

Ned @ 2007.02.22 2311
I found a contractor who is enthusiastic about learning and meeting LEED&tm; standards for the new project when it begins.
