Dell Fixes Computer

Well after about a year of being with a computer, I finally got it fixed by Dell. Its has been mainly my fault that it hasn't been fixed in all this time although it has been helped by Dell. I called Dell in September. They didn't come to the rescue though. So about a week and half ago, when I finally got some free time during this insane work load of a lecture quarter at UC. They came and replaced my LCD screen, but it didn't fix the problem. It was discovered that the video card was fried. A few days later Dell came and replaced my video card and the laptop was working properly again.
After the latest round of computer problems and the lack of fixing after contacting them in September, I don't think I will buy another Dell product. For my next computer I think I might indulge in an Apple. Though I have enjoyed not having a computer this past year. It has been gratifying to know that I can live with a computer, if I have to in the future with some adjustment time.

if you end up getting an apple, make sure you break it several times within three years to get a new one.

I have been enjoying my new electronic toy. Considering my current status of my piece of shit Dell. I look forward when I can get an Apple computer.

Update on the junk Dell. I have recently discovered it is refusing to run off of battery power. Looks like I get to sit on hold for an hour very soon, again. MOOOOAAAANNNN.

Maybe you should look into a desktop or something for all the times your laptop is in Dell's pit-lane...
