Sony Gets A New Home
Posted by: Adam Fuson @ 2006.02.19.0130

Months ago I brought a 33" Sony television to Bullard mansion with some broken electronic components. Sharon Palen had bequeathed the device to Jim and I after its initial failure. Jim and his father had revived the display, but it had failed again and consequently arrived in Bull's basement. Of course, the Bull easily repaired the giant Sony and began using it in conjunction with his existing television. Unexpectedly, during an electronic shopping spree the Bull bought a 3rd screen, a Westinghouse 27" LCD. By this time Bull's basement was getting crowded with large screens, so I began pressing him for ways to alleviate some of the clutter. While talking with him a week ago Katherine found a Craig's list request for a $40 television. I immediately called the man, who sounded Indian and requested the model of the television and a chance to inspect it the following Saturday.

A week later I again called the Indian man, Rahula Kirani, and made arrangements to get the television to his apartment off Queen City Avenue. Rahula, a Cobol mainframe programmer for IBM and GM, was concerned about the remote control, and with some negotiating I managed to get a remote from the Bull to accompany the transaction. Unfortunately, the remote looked quite dilapidated, and disappointed Rahula. However, the size and clarity of the brilliant 33" Sony screen more than made-up for the over-used look of the remote. Rahula, Kyle and I exchange stories and contact information over orange juice and chocolates, while sitting on some plastic patio furniture in his sparsely furnished apartment. Rahul seemed very happy about his new television, and I hope it supplies him with lengthy and quality viewing.

The Bull's locks are more glorious than those of a golden Greek god.

Hi, I'm Rahul's wife. We are enjoying the television and it is very much worth the money. We had a repair on the picture tube, but I thank my husband for getting such a nice TV, cheap cost too. Even though we have 47" Samsung LCD now, still we use this. Thanks for your Ad. Thanks Bull.
