Saturn Gets Racktified
Posted by: Brian Nieport @ 2006.02.19.0029

In early January, I was picking some items at Reser's shop and I found out my Dad decided to get me a roof rack. Immediately, I order some more trays and wheel carriers. Asking for help in installing from the Fuse we decide to do it on the weekend of February 10th. Unfortunately, he was busy with work, school and other glorious activities. It would have been nice to have installed it then due to the unseasonably warm weather. So on February 17th the Fuse and myself got together at Decavirate. After I gave the Fuse a haircut, we installed the rack. We spent a couple of hours out in the freezing cold putting it all together. To celebrate, we went to the most glorious burrito place in the city, Chipotle. With the addition of my roof rack to Reser's, the UC Cycling Club should be able to ride in more style and comfort to races this year.

Maybe room and comfort, but I have trouble believing style.

Congrats anyway!!

The haircut article is Fuse's job. Note: Fuse pretty much forced me to do it after I forwarned him.

katherine @ 2006.02.21 1244
let me get this "straight" . . . he "forced" you into a "haircut" ?

bremer @ 2006.02.21 1334
a couple of hours to install a roof rack! A monkey could do it in 23 minutes tops.

Yea well kinda look at who I was working with plus it was cold and we were taking breaks. On the haircut, I told him I could easily botch it up if he wanted 2 lengths. I told him it should be one lenght if he wanted to look nice with me doing it.

is this the same saturn i see parked on probasco all the time? i should start doing stuff to it. has the spare key been copied and distributed yet?

Fuse @ 2006.03.06 1757
Will, we'd only do that to your car

katherine @ 2006.03.06 1948
so do we have a key to the protege?

will @ 2006.03.06 2015
take the protege away, i hate it!

the silent one @ 2006.03.06 2225
Will, I had nothing to do with messing with your old saturn. Although, they tried to get me to do somethings. I refused to do so. Yes, it is the saturn you see on probasco all the time.

Talk about conversion, my shop keeps getting broken into. What's a girl to do?

Fuse @ 2006.03.09 1137
  Did that happen again?

the silent one @ 2006.03.17 1857
I have finally added the wheel carriers.
