Bike Shop Birthday
Posted by: Adam Fuson @ 2006.01.28.2250

One week ago aware of my birthday and my affinity for Dewey's Pizza planned a massive gathering. At least 14 people were invited to Dewey's last Saturday night for pizza. Johnny, Katherine and I left Decavirate about an hour before others were scheduled to arrive. We dropped Katherine off at the Levee, and parked at the bike shop. However, it was soon evident that a group of 14 in Dewey's would be quite unreasonable, as the wait would be nearly 2 hours. At the same time Will Yokel et. al. were meeting Katherine at Borders Bookstore while Reser and Sarai were calling me for a plan of the evening. So instead of trying to squeeze into the restaurant we decided to order pizza and meet at the Shop instead.

William and his entourage took a detour from the Levee to the Party Source before arriving at the Shop. David Fausz, Johnny and I prepared the shop so that most of us would have a place to sit and eat. Then we bought some refreshments from Kumar on the west side of Monmouth Street and drove to meet Katherine at the Levee with her arms full of two large pizzas. Finally, several groups converged on the Shop each with pizzas and refreshments. We spent the next hour eating and reminiscing before departing the bike shop for other endeavors. Yokel was headed for a backyard fire with Tara and his roommate. Of course, I simply returned to Decavirate.

Finally! a sensible trip to Dewey's. It boggles the mind to think of how many wasted hours were spent cramped in their non-spacious waiting areas because of decavirate's poor restauraunt decision paradigm. I commend you fuse, and now I can die a happy man

Fuse @ 2006.01.30 1227
Fantastic!!! I await your eminient arrival and 1st hand approval.

Bike Shop quote of the day:

I'll get that motherfucker out... just give me some C4.

The above in reference to the vaults

john q ortcloud @ 2006.01.31 0914
I think if you want to remove the vaults you should first close them, fill them with acid, then using an enourmous amount of direct current, attach the positive electrode to the vault, the negative to some large metal plate in the vault but not touching the vault, and go, the vault should deposit itself upon the plate. repeat as necessary

Ned @ 2006.01.31 1929
That was too obvious a solution. I had to look twice at the name because I thought Johnny A had written that.

So you think I could just fill the vault with pepsi, run 440 through it, and I'd be left with a sweetened pile of phospite?

john adams @ 2006.02.01 2222
Fuse do you really need to slam Mr. Robinson with your quote atop decavirate?

That being an Audi, it probably needed a transmission rebuild and new turbocharger three minute after the video ended.

Ned @ 2006.02.02 0955
At least he wasn't greeted by an clogged drain and un-foreseeable ice while taking one of those corners.

And while we're on the subject of the cars, let's see some top-ten lists for the Katherine of Kars consisting of favorite vehicles under $8000. (*Excluding Bremer's WRX that is now worth less than $8000)

john adams @ 2006.02.02 1256
under $8000, really? i thought the budget called for less?

katherine @ 2006.02.02 1353
yeah, it's more like $3000 or less.

ned @ 2006.02.02 1455
